Teth-Adam was born in 26th Century Egypt BCE in Kahndag. When his father died in debt, he and his family were enslaved by a cruel man named Ibac to satisfy the debt. Most of them died under Ibac’s brutality. Teth-Adam helped his one surviving relative, a nephew named Aman, escape, but Adam was mortally wounded in the process.

The two were transported to the Rock of Eternity, where the wizard Shazam named Aman his champion and gave him great power. To save his uncle Adam’s life, Aman shared his power with him. Adam wanted to kill Ibac in revenge, while Aman wanted to show mercy, freeing the slaves and bringing peace to all. Feeling Aman was weak and naive, Adam killed him, taking all the power for himself, and exacted brutal revenge on Ibac. He told Shazam Ibac had killed Aman.
